about us
overview
The Daibu Abdulrahman Foundation is an independent legal entity and non-profit organization duly incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission [CAC] in the year 2023. The DAF was founded with the primary objective of empowering disadvantaged youths in Nigeria. The charity focusses on the development, improvement and provision of opportunities in sports, and it also engages in wellbeing initiatives. It provides financial assistance to young people in need of support in areas such as health, entrepreneurship, creative arts and education.
As a youth centered activism hub, the Foundation fuels young people to change the world by helping them break systemic barriers that block equitable progress for the future. The Foundation also educates young people about societal issues and equips them with opportunities and skills to help them thrive and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through to adolescence.
The Foundation works with all its partners towards the achievements of the sustainable human development goals adopted by the world community and the realization of the vision of peace and social progress enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations. The Foundation is non-partisan and its cooperations are free of discrimination. At the heart of everything it does, youths are its greatest priority.
